Passion
(04/05/94)

In fluid motion, pounding to the beat
Of two hearts pumping, synchronized as one;
A mingled sweat, two bellies moist with heat,
Colliding, sliding, drenched in pools that run,
Flowing down in rivers, warm upon the skin.
Twin breaths that intersect together sigh
Amidst the rhythm of a stroke, and in
The darkness magnifies into a cry
Of ecstasy, then quiet shudders start
And ripple live electric in a current
Emanating deep within; lips part
And tingle in the glow of passion spent
Tired legs untangle from their locked embrace
As lovers lie together face to face.
